A bold new initiative from Welshpool Town Council, the event will celebrate all forms of transport
A big thank you to all, locals and visitors, who came to our Festival weekend. The enthusiasm and hardwork of all the entrants and volunteers gave everyone something to see, do and try which made it an enjoyable and exciting time for the whole family.

Hurry into town as Cracker the Shire horse will be around Welshpool today meeting people between 11am and 1pm. Knowledge of “horse” language is not necessary, just smiles which we are sure he will bring to your face. On Sunday The Cycling Belles will be demonstrating their skills on their back to front bikes
For all those people looking forward to a leisurely journey on the narrow guage Steam Railway through the beautiful countryside surrounding Welshpool detailed information and timetable for the Festival Weekend can be found on the W&LLR website. There will be 8 return journeys on Saturday 23rd and 5 return journeys on Sunday 24th
UPDATE: Festival attractions will not just be on the ground. On Saturday 23rd June one of the most famous British aircraft, an RAF Spitfire, will be powering its way through the skies over Welshpool at 15:10pm. The Flypast will involve the aircraft passing over 3 times with, depending on conditions, aerobatic maneuvers in between

Throughout the weekend there will be a bus service circulating around the town every 30 minutes from outside the Tourist Information Center .
SATURDAY: 10.00am – 12.30pm (No service between 1.00-1.55pm)
2.00pm – 5.00pm
SUNDAY: 10.00am – 2.00pm
PARK & RIDE (Saturday only)
From Welshpool Livestock Market, Buttington, into and from town every 15 minutes from 10.00am until 2.00pm so that you do not have an issue with parking.
